Using best practices, RVH’s Patient Experience Framework and leveraging RVH’s partnership with The Beryl Institute, develop standardized rounding questions and an implementation plan for bedside patient experience rounding that aligns with the Vitally You strategic plan.
The anticipated result of this project will be to create standardized rounding questions and an implementation plan of rolling out patient experience rounding. This will benefit the patients and the organization by providing in the moment patient experience service recovery and will benefit students in their understanding of the development of an implementation plan and patient experience principles.
Students would be expected to work towards the above outcomes and deliverables, reviewing the resources mentioned above, as well as meeting with Patient Experience Consultants to assist in mentorship/guiding the work. This can be done remotely.
Providing specialized knowledge in the project subject area, with industry context.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
Providing access to necessary tools, software, and resources required for project completion.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
