Review RVH’s patient safety plan and framework, Patient Safety SharePoint Page, and available resources. Leveraging adult learning principles, develop an education platform for front line team members to get engaged in Patient Safety behaviours, highlighting the ‘Good Catch’ program and showcasing the positive outcomes to patients by recognizing patient safety concerns before they reach the patient.

The anticipated result of this project will be to create an education platform inclusive of resources for frontline staff to access. This will benefit the frontline staff and the organization by increasing awareness and access to patient safety resources including the organizations Good Catch program. This will benefit students in their understanding of the principles/creation of education and patient safety. 

Students would be expected to work towards the above outcomes and deliverables, reviewing the resources mentioned above, as well as meeting with Patient Safety Consultants to assist in mentorship/guiding the work. This can be done remotely.
